What is Cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is when one child or teenager torments or harasses another child or teenager using digital technology, such as the internet or a mobile phone.

Bullying is no longer limited to the schoolyard or the playground. Bullying and harassment can take place around the clock via postings to websites and social networks, and through email and text messages. It is this twenty-four hour a day possibility for tormenting and harassing that makes cyberbullying so potentially destructive.
